ABOUT
THE MERVYN ACADEMY

Our Story
By the numbers
The Mervyn Academy teaches, educates, motivates, and instills morals in her pupils/ students in crèche, nursery, primary and secondary school.
At The Mervyn Academy, we inspire the students to discover and realize their full academic, sporting, artistic and personal potential. We train students to become well-rounded young men and women, become good leaders, respect others, be tolerant, principled, and honest.
Our qualified teachers provide a range of teaching strategies and a profound understanding of the student’s development.
We aim to enable all our students to make the most of their academic abilities. Through quality teaching and a positive approach to learning, we encourage our students to aim as high as possible, enjoy their studies, and do well in examinations.
The Mervyn Academy was established in September 2012. It is located in a spacious and serene environment in Sabon Lugbe along airport road Abuja. Coupled with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and educational facilities, teaching and learning opportunities for the learners, it has academic blocks, a sports arena, boarding facilities, and staff residences.
To provide a well-rounded program, we have planned a structured progression that allows subjects to increase complexity and depth logically while allowing each student to take an increasing degree of responsibility of exciting ‘’after school’’ activities to help explore new avenues.
We believe that every child is enormously capable of fulfilling his/her purpose on earth. We try to create an environment that stimulates children to hunger for academic excellence. Our professional educators are dedicated to encourage learners to be the best that they can be. The Mervyn Academy is positioned to encourage this generation of achievers and future leaders, to positively contribute to the development of our community.
